Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This policy explains how Style Guide Studio handles information in connection with https://styleguidestudio.com/. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@styleguidestudio.com.

Information you provide

When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you choose to send. We use that information to respond to the enquiry, review corrections, handle rights requests and maintain relevant correspondence. Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your enquiry.

Technical information and security

Our hosting and service providers may process request information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps and error logs to deliver the website and protect it from misuse. The contact form uses a short-lived, hashed identifier derived from an IP address to limit repeated submissions. The theme does not store the message in a separate contact-message database; it sends the message to the publication by email. Email and hosting services may keep their own records.

Cookies and similar technologies

WordPress and connected services may use cookies or local storage for necessary functions, preferences, authentication and security. Administrators use login cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser; disabling some cookies may affect functions. Where a consent message is available, use its controls to make or change choices about optional processing.

Comments

If you leave a comment, WordPress processes the submitted comment information and may also record an IP address and browser information for moderation and spam detection. A displayed name and comment can become public after approval. If avatars or a spam service are enabled, those providers may receive the information needed to supply that feature. Do not include private information in a public comment.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. Depending on the settings and consent choices, Google may process online identifiers, pages visited, device or browser information and interaction data. We use aggregate reporting to understand readership and improve the publication. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google advertising

This website is connected to Google AdSense. Where advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and limit how often an ad is shown. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and/or other websites, subject to applicable settings and consent.

You can manage Google advertising personalization through My Ad Center. You can also visit aboutads.info/choices for choices offered by participating advertising providers. Non-personalized ads may still involve processing for security, frequency capping and measurement. Read Google's advertising privacy information for more detail.

Service providers and disclosure

Hosting, email, security and any enabled analytics, advertising or subscription providers process information needed to deliver their services. We may also disclose relevant information where required by law, to respond to a valid rights complaint or to protect the site from misuse. Third-party links lead to services with their own privacy policies.

Retention

Different records can have different retention periods. Contact correspondence may remain in the receiving email account, and hosting, analytics, advertising and other providers apply their own storage and deletion settings. The contact-form rate-limit record expires after ten minutes. For information about a particular record or a deletion request, contact us using the details on this page.

Your choices and requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of certain information, or to object to some processing. Contact us using the email above and describe your request. We may need information to verify the request before acting. Cookie and advertising choices can also be managed through the controls described in this policy.

International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy terms explain their processing locations and applicable transfer arrangements.

Children and sensitive information

This general style publication is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information that should be removed, contact us. Do not send medical, financial or other sensitive information through a general contact form.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or services change. The date above identifies the current published version. Contact info@styleguidestudio.com if you have a question about this policy.
